Hi Badgers! To become a better badger, its important to stay on the right track with classes and credits. Here is a complete, step by step guide to explore courses offered on campus, find ones that work for you, and register for them.

Start by heading to www.wisc.edu and hovering over MyUW to open the drop down menu.

Select MyUW Home.

This will bring you to the UW student portal.

Click on course search and enroll in the bottom left.

This will take you to the course registration page.

Here you can search for courses by term, subject, class number, and more. Make sure you select the right term

Once you find a class you like, click see sections in the top right corner.

“See sections” will show you all the times and options offered for that particular class.

To find more information, click on one section. Make sure to check the class availability, potential requisites, the mode of instruction and the exam time.

Find the section that works best for you and scroll down to find “add section to cart.”

Once your sections are selected, head to the next tab labeled “schedular.”

Here you can see all of the classes in your cart in a schedule format. If any classes overlap or this will also show up here.

When your schedule is good to go, click on the degree audit at the end of the top heading.

Here you can run a new degree audit to see how the classes youve selected align with your academic goals.

You can also test out the “what-if” audit to explore prospective majors and certifications

Once youve found your classes, checked your schedule, and ran your dars, its finally time to register for classes!

Click “my courses” in the top menu.

Double-check you are enrolling at the appropriate enrollment date and time.

Then select the check box for the classes you want to enroll in, and click enroll in the top right corner.

Thats it! Congratulations, you have now registered for your classes.. Thanks for following along, and on wisconsin!
